As is often the case for most artists their first or second albums are usually their best. I assume this album was well received because I had heard at least three of the songs on Christian radio. These ladies have great voices and the instrumental accompaniment is top notch, not overdone, but
just right, particularly the percussionists.

Shackles is such a cool song! Everyone should buy this song and dance to it. You can't listen to it without breaking out into a hip-hop dance.

THIS CD WAS AWESOME..... CHECK OUT HAPPY. IT COMES OUT IN APRIL 2002.. AND ITS EVEN BETTER THAN THIS ONE. OUT OF EDEN ROX

Even not expecting much fulfillment from this album, I was blatantly disappointed. The only thing I liked was the lyrics, which are pure, inspiring truths in their own right. However, the music is, for the most part, bland, soul-less r&b. While sincerity flourishes, real depth and satisfaction are lacking. Too bad the melodies and instrumentation are so overwhelming here, because they weaken the lyrics, which are the album's only strongpoint. MARYMARY is the "Christian Destiny's Child" (they even collaborate with the secular group here), but with all the feeling emptied out.
