Though this movie touches on several real issues in the couple's marriage relationships, this movie was so funny. We laughed through parts throughout the film. Hope they make more movies in this genre. We really enjoyed this clean romantic comedy.
This movie has some very funny moments and some very insightful observations about marriage. Three couples with three different problems decide to go on a marriage retreat for selfish reasons and get more than they bargained for in the form of Jeff Fahey (amusing as the jaded, but dedicated Christian counselor) and Victoria Jackson (his submissive, supportive wife; who has some very great insights in her simple words). Parenthood, addictions, and obsessive behavior are all tackled, but with an emphasis on Jesus Christ and the Ephesians 5:22-33 view of marraige. My wife and I enjoyed this movie alot and laughed quite a bit, but were slightly disappointed at the ending, which seemed incomplete. Despite this, if you want an amusing look at three couples discovering Jesus Christ in their broken marriages, you will enjoy this movie.
