Author Bios

Bob Moeller is the weekly host of a nationally broadcast television call-in show, MarriageFor Better, For Worse on the Total Living Network (www.tln.com). He also conducts weekend marriage seminars around the nation. He is author of three books on marriage and has written articles for such publications as Focus on the Family, Marriage Partnership, and Christianity Today. Bob holds a doctor of ministry degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He and his wife, Cheryl, have been married 29 years and are the parents of six children.

Cheryl Moeller is a seasoned mother and a standup comic. She is also a syndicated columnist with her own blog (www.momlaughs.blogspot.com) and contributes monthly to several on-line parent websites. Cheryl has coauthored two books on marriage with her husband and has written for www.mops.org and Marriage Partnership. Cheryl does comedy for parenting classes, MOPS groups, wedding or baby showers, church retreats, womens conferences, and those in line at the grocery store.

With a pastors heart, Bob and Cheryl Moeller speak from their heart to help struggling couples. Many of the lessons espoused in this easy to read book, my wife and I had learned the hard way through trial and error. I wish this text had been around when we had gone through our difficult times - it would have shortened that difficult period significantly. That said, the book brought about many interesting conversations between my wife and me and revealed some areas that still need to be worked on. The theme that runs through this book is that it is never too late and it only takes one heart dedicated to change to transform a marriage. The diagnostic tools in the appendix of the book are extremely helpfulactually eye-openingto get one to realistically look at areas that may need improvement. While the lessons may not be new, the teaching is solidly biblical in a very easy to read fashion. I highly recommend this to not only those who are struggling in relationships but also for those seeking to make a good relationship better.

We are reading The Marriage Miracle in our Couples Bible Study and everyone loves the book! It has great examples of marriages that have grown stronger even after the most difficult situation. The Q&A in the back of each chapter helps with group participation. I highly recommend the book to those with a healthy marriage as well as marriages in need of guidance.

I had to write a review on this book. This is an awesome book for truly hurting, painful marriages. I heard this couple on WMBI (Moody Radio) in Chicago and was able to get the book at my library. This book, IMHO along with Love and War, really gets to the heart of marriages. It does not have a slant...meaning, favoring men or favoring women. It doesn't tell you what you want to hear, it tells you what you need to hear and think about. This is book you read when the walls are high and you feel empty. There are helps in the back of the book that help you identify things in yourself and we all know that truly is the only person God is dealing with us to change (in whatever way). If you are hurting, read this book. I know some books are great to read but you don't necessarily want a copy of it on your shelf, but this book you will. Just my two cents.
