I am reading this book for a small group the church is doing. Some bible verses are misinterpreted, He talks about in Ezekiel 36:21-36 about Israel getting a new heart on pg 35 of his book, he says when we go back to God that he gives us a new heart when we leave sin. Totally ignoring the original context of the kingdom of heaven, literal 1,000 years. Recommend the Greatness of the Kingdom for this topic. Also he uses the word "calling" often, maybe the readers would enjoy Decision Making and the Will of God for this topic. he does have some decent stuff, but it is all a given, nothing really new here is this book, sorry blackaby.

I needed one for the plebes and found one geared towards management. However, the major idea is the same: find ways to acknowledge God in your work and He will fight the battles when they come.

I love this book! This book will greatly benefit all Christians who work! It covers so many typical workplace issues - how to approach them, think about them, deal with them... it's a fantastic resource. Many thanks to the Blackabys.
