Paul Burnes3 Stars Out Of 5an average commentary on MarkApril 14, 2012Paul BurnesQuality: 3Value: 3Meets Expectations: 3Evans gives a good, but not extraordinary account of Mark.
His depth is sufficient for the student as well as for every day study of the Scriptures. His only real negative is his sparse coverage of the second ending to Mark. It seems rushed and like more of an after thought. This aside, he does a good job.
