This book is a treasure for parents as well as grandparents,(dare I say teachers might enjoy it too!). Another home court winner! Thankfully, the doctor is in!

I bought this as a reference for to read up on before I have issues with my 17 month old. I have no illusions I will face many challenges, but since I have no other children and very little experience with toddlers I wanted to be as prepared as possible. It has been very insightful so far, I have already changed some of my preconceived notions.

This is the first book by Kevin Leman that I have read. It is wonderful! I just finished it tonight, but throughout my reading it I've been trying some of his suggestions with my kids. They have been successful! He gives very sound advice based on several scriptures. He also shows where many people misinterpret parts of scripture causing their discipline to be too harsh. I'm anxious for my husband to read it and I plan on rereading it when he's done.
