As someone who loves Christmas, even I thought it was a little too early to read about Christmas, but 25 Days, 26 Ways by Ace Collins was a refreshing book. At only 192 pages, it is a quick read, but full of wonderful information.25 Days, 26 Ways is set up in such a way that you can use it as a devotional for the month of December or read it through in your own timing. Each chapter is about a specific holiday tradition, such as the Christmas Tree or the story behind the 12 days of Christmas. Collins then gives a historical background about the chapter subject. He then gives the reader ways to modernize the tradition.I love how easy this book is to read, as well as how simple the ideas are to incorporate into our daily lives. I know that I, for one, have already started a list of things that I would like start this year for new family traditions.
