Relates the Gospel story to women in a way that women will be open to receive. It does a excellent retelling of the Jesus Film to include the many encounters Christ had with the women of that day and the love and respect Jesus showed these women.

The Jesus film has always been recognised as producing the best rendering of the Bible. ItÃ¢ÂÂs so true to life that you will feel like you are in first century Palestine.

MAGDALENA THROUGH HER EYES is cleverly used in presenting the Jesus story in the eyes of women. If the message was portrayed by another women other than Mary Magdalene, then the result wouldnÃ¢ÂÂt be as dramatic as she was one of the Ã¢ÂÂworst sinners.Ã¢ÂÂ Jesus selected a lady who was shuned so that He could portray His deep love and forgiveness to anybody.

It was refreshing to be able to see the MAGDALENA movie come alive and make it feel more personal. Women in the past and today need to know they can be released from shame and be given the freedom to follow God. The message of hope and value by Jesus touching many women in the Bible is what we need today!

With Easter on the horizon, I think this movie would be great to see for your Easter movie viewing. I must also say that this movie is not made for young children because of the content and length. An Easter Veggie Tale movie would be more appealing for the younger audience.
