As the author describes, spiritual fitness is not a series of straight, 100-yard sprints, but rather a life-long cross-country run of endurance and perseverance. The life that is truly fulfilling gives back to God the talents and abilities He has given us to be used for His glory.

This book was not only inspiring and convicting, but it was incredibly encouraging as well. In his charming way of writing, Alistair Begg reminds us all that we are not created for our pleasure or inspiration. God created us because He loves us and has a PLAN for each of us. I was deeply encouraged to examine areas of my own life that I had not submitted to living as "forgetting what is behind" and pressing on towards the prize!

This is an excellent read. Allistair Begg's writing style make it a pleasure to read and the content is fantastic. This book challenges all believers to put their whole lives under the Lordship of Christ. It's a short read but one that will leave your hungry for more.
