I used this book and tape with four children in grades 2, 4, 6, and 8. It sparked their interests on each subject so that they did their own "research" to learn even more. The songs really helped them to remember the information, and even my kindergartener joined in on them. We're going to study volume 3 on the body next, and are all excited to get the new tape!

The description says to be used with middle school, but I used Lyrical Life Science 1 and 2 for a high school student who was bored with just reading. He enjoyed the funny lyrics and tunes, even though he said they were "dumb". And, here's the best part, he remembered the information. You can easily supplement this material with videos, library books, dissection kits, and have a lot of fun.
