The Gospel of Luke contemplates Jesus Christ as a genuine human being. As evidence of this, Luke uses the phrase "Son of Man" some 24 times in his Gospel. He wanted believers to be well grounded in their faith in Jesus, Son of God and Son of Man. The Gospel of Luke is a precise historical account of the life and ministry of Christ. More than 50 percent of its content is unique, information about Christ's life that is not found in any other Gospel. It is the story of a singular man: the Christ, fully man but also fully God.
