Alexander5 Stars Out Of 5You are SpecialApril 4, 2013AlexanderQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 5This is a book for the child in each of us. I have used examples of or referred to this book many times when referencing the Father.
My own children love the story even up to early teens.
It is a really reminder of the loving nature of the Father.

As our church's children's music ministry director, it has been my tradition for the past 12 years to read this book aloud at the conclusion of our final dress rehearsal. I want the kids to take away the assurance that God's love for each of them is simply because He is their Creator, not performance-based nor based on the approval (or disapproval) of man. I tie the message of the book in with Psalm 139 and Isaiah 43:1.

It touched my heart when I first read it as an adult. I bought it most recently for a child, and ended up reading it as an illustration while teaching a College and Career Sunday School class.
Joanne WalterGeorgiaAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Perfect GiftJanuary 2, 2012Joanne WalterGeorgiaAge: 55-65Gender: femaleI have given this book, many times over, as a gift for births and children of all ages. The only complaint I have (if you can call it that) is that I have a hard time reading it without getting "choked up".
This story has a universal message of God's unconditional love for each that He created...powerful stuff...spread the word!
