We use the LifeGuide studies regularly for many mens and couples Bible studies. This study seemed like a good idea but the stories they use to justify the injustices just do not seem to fit. Quite a stretch actually. We might not be able finish the book because the studies are so lousy. Pick another study instead.
I usually love the LifeGuide series and have used them in my small group for several years. This one was particularly difficult, because so much was crammed into each lesson. I do not like having the lesson based on an entire chapter, or 2, in some cases. We read the scripture together in class and an entire chapter is often too much. I often had to go outside the book to research answers. The leader's guide was not much help in this book. As an individual study it would be great. The lessons were very thought provoking, especially in the world in which we live today.
Vary good book for small groups, as all the books in this series are, it makes you read the bible and think as this is how we grow and learn. You also get good group conversations and different points of veiws.
I am using this study for my Sunday School class. The questions generate a lot of thought and discussion for the class. I provide some additional information from other study bibles and the Leader's Guide. I have used other LifeGuide studies and found them to be excellent for my classes.
