A true blessing.

I truly enjoyed reading this book. I was blessed so that I read it within one day. I was touched and enlightened by several statements that the author made such as: "My name is Hephzibah", "My delight is in her" "I delight in you; I enjoy you; I really like you." "You are not forsaken; you are not forgotten; you are His delight." These statements reminded me that no matter what, God loves me and will never forsake me.
I was also reminded that as His child, I should also continue to be in Bridal Worship as I prepare myself for my King's return.
The Author's hard wired Faith tidbits were also a blessing.
After reading the book I could feel the passion of God's heart and thankfulness within my own heart that cried out "Father thank you for loving me as much as you love Jesus".
The Publisher, Destiny Image has provided me with a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review of the book.
Lovesick God not only about a God who is lovesick for us, but what we can do to receive and return that to Him. Perez begins by showing the reader that God's love is infinitely personal. Every detail of the universe shows the lengths and intelligence behind creation.
Perez addresses the emotional woundedness that many of us carry. Our wounds prevent us from embracing in our hearts the lovesick God. He calls this "spiritual widowhood." When you have no sense of peace you need a fresh encounter with the Maker.
My Favorite part of the book is where Perez talks about having a hardwired faith and the five dimensions of that kind of faith. He explains how faith is not just knowledge, but a combination of our thinking, feelings, words and actions. He also talks about how our words have power when combined with our feelings and thinking that goes beyond mere speaking or confessing. When we put all of this together we can in turn be lovesick for our God.
Lovesick God is an easy read that can take into a deeper relationship with the One who love you infinitely more than you can imagine.

God the Father is not the task master people believe he is. He `delights in me, enjoys me; and really like me'. The Father loves me just as much as he loves Jesus. When the angels fell they did not qualify for his highest, but I did. I am in awe when I realize the love God has for me. When the author spoke about the single look from my eyes that's all it takes to capture his heart, it left me wanting more of him.
This book is intense, in-depth and has a lot of passages where I have to stop and ponder. The Love sick God is not a topic you hear everyday from the pulpit.
All christians should read this book at least once per year.
If you are looking for a good romance story this is it. Redemption is about a love story. I recommended this book to others.

This book is about knowing and believing. Believing in
something much bigger than yourself. We're all a bundle of energy moving through life longing to be connected with our maker, creator of this universe.
The author of this book, gives many answers to our identity and thirst for more of this force we need and long for. It is an extraordinary love story exemplified by the Bride and Bridegroom message.( I received a complimentary e-copy via Destiny Image for my honest review of the entire book)Therefore the above is my honest observation.
