Whole series is WOW! You can't help but feel for the people depicted in this series. I'm a male and yes I've been through some hard times and so I can feel and I must admit I need tissues on hand. The advise given to the offspring is so beautifully put that I'd like to memorise them. Who knows when or if I'll need to use them one day. The WHOLE series is a must buy.
I hope and pray that there will be more to this series. Sit back enjoy and be BLESSED.
I'm going to put this review on all of the others so I don't have to type it out again.

This movie showed family unity in crisis, Christian values vs wealth and status, and forgiveness and reconciliation. Wonderful story and lessons!!!! I love this author's pure messages.

I thought this was a good movie as well as the first. It still had a good story line, no foul language. I really like the fact that this series shows the dad being a man of God & standing strong for the Lord & teaching his kids the same Christian values! How many men actually do that today?!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't read the books in this series, which I am glad of since it seems to be impossible to enjoy the movies if one is a loyal fan of the books. That being said, I didn't enjoy this movie nearly as much as the first one. I thought that all in all, the actress playing Missy did a good job of portraying the character she was portraying, HOWEVER; that character was not the same Missy from Love Comes Softly. Missy from Love Comes Softly was outspoken and feisty and bit bull-headed. This girl was shy, soft spoken, and...well, I don't know much else to say because she lacked much development. Also, I felt that the movie didn't flow very well and lacked a climax. It was a bit cheesier than the first one, too. Still, I enjoyed it and would watch it again.

I have read the book as well and enjoyed both. The scenery and characters will take you to a time and place when life was simple, yet hard to endure. Both men and women would enjoy this movie.

This is a wonderful family movie. The entire series with life lessons to be learned by all. The love of family and friends is so important and this movie clearly illustrates what is important in life. A great reminder to all.
