Good Family Movie but No specific Christian emphasis
November 10, 2014
I agree with daisydogv's review in that the movie had no scenes of praying or giving God the praise. This is a family movie but not a "Christian" movie--if that makes any sense. It is far different from Love Comes Softly where not only was there prayer but hymn singing and references to God. That said, I enjoyed this movie for what it was -- a family friendly movie. But if you are expecting a Christian theme-based story, you will probably be disappointed.
This is nothing like the series! where is the Christian Faith? They never pray. They never call out to GOD for help, guidence, or deliverence. They never give GOD glory, or praise. Even the Christmas story read is the one about scrooge, NOT the birth of CHRIST. BAD acting, BAD story line, BAD movie!
