Whole series is WOW! You can't help but feel for the people depicted in this series. I'm a male and yes I've been through some hard times and so I can feel and I must admit I need tissues on hand. The advise given to the offspring is so beautifully put that I'd like to memorise them. Who knows when or if I'll need to use them one day. The WHOLE series is a must buy.
I hope and pray that there will be more to this series. Sit back enjoy and be BLESSED.
I'm going to put this review on all of the others so I don't have to type it out again.

Although I'm happy to see Christian movies being made this movie was a disappointment. True fans of the Love Comes Softly series will quickly see that this movie (and the others) are not at all like the treasured books. In this movie it bothers me that their baby dies. No such thing happened in the book. Also I don't like the fact that Missie leaves her family, especially her baby & young boy, to go and teach. The Missie in the book would have never done that. I think this movie should stand on it's own and not bear the Love Comes Softly series title. It is very misleading & disappointing. I will not be purchasing any of these movies.

This 4th movie in the series was very good. It is not garbage like a lot of the stuff out there now that kids watch! I thought the actress that played this Missie did good! It is still a really good family movie. It shows how life really can be during difficult times!

It's a wonderful film about the way life and love should be as God intended. And the faith tha we should have in times of trouble and challenges we face such loss and despair. This film shows how God is there to help us overcome even the toughest times in life, I highly reccomend this film to encourage anyone whe feels that God is not there through hard times, The truth is HE is.

YUCK. I'll have to say what everyone else says.. WHERE IS THE OLD MISSIE??? She was so good. Not to mention this story does not at all really have a Christian theme. It even had a swear word! This is not a good Christian film.
