This review was written for God So Loved the World.
Jonathan Wilson offers a refreshing approach to Christology which adeptly bridges the "ditch" that is commonly perceived to exist between doctrine and praxis. He is sensitive toward the contemporary reader's appeal toward stories whilst maintaining adherence to biblical teaching. The end-product is a book that helps you think theologically without the traditional jargon yet with inherent traditional orthodoxy (although Nestorianism is glaringly missing in his treatment). Overall, an excellent book which I'm currently using as a Sunday School textbook.
