In fact, I found the story of Vickie Harris, the second park ranger in the threesome, even better than "Love is Battlefield." I felt I had visited Washington D.C. and all its monuments to history. I enjoyed getting to know the two main characters, Vickie and Thatcher, watching them overcome the painful parts of their pasts, watching them become friends, overcome misunderstandings, grow in their faith and grow to love one another. Once again, the strong friendship between Vickie, Kristy and Ainsley was a central part of the story, showing how important good friendships are in our lives. I cant wait to read the third book in the series.
