Absolutely fantastic! I bought these books for my mother-in-law after I had seen the DVD movies and she couldn't speak more highly of this set of books. She said they are a wonderful stories of love and faith and a fantastic read. Will be purchasing the Prairie Series which follows on from these books. I will be borrowing these and reading them for myself. Do yourself a favour and buy these books. January 17, 2012

Inspirational These books have a great story line with a strong foundation in what true faith means. While the story is fictional one could believe that the story encompasses what real frontier families went through. I first saw the movies and actually purchased them from here and then I decided I wanted more information about the beautiful family I had come to feel apart of. Boy was I glad because the books are even better! Having a novel written with scripture, prayer, trials and tribulations is so relational and inspiring that the things I face today are minute compared to back then! Such a blessing! August 1, 2011

Best Series there ever was Love comes Softly Books 1-4 Janette Oke Love comes softly is based on a woman's view of going west and east in the 19th centruy. Marty first lost her husband and Clark married her out of convenience for them both. Soon however their marriage was for more then convenience, it was for love. They soon find faith in their God and in their love. The story goes on to show how their love progresses, how their daughter finds love to and tragedy. The story is funny, and full of suspense. It shows the struggles that the people have to overcome, and guides us through the life as if we are right there with them. I try to count my blessings daily, as no one ever really thinks about what they have. I love the story the farther it goes. Everyone should read these books as no one will ever doubt what they have again or question their faith. July 29, 2011
