Author Bio

Each year Scott Bessenecker helps send over 2000 college students to nearly every continent on earth as the associate director of missions for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. To prepare for his work spreading vision and mobilizing resources, Scott got a degree in Business Administration and a masters in International Development from William Carey International University. Scott has written from a holistic Christian perspective for publications like and magazines and edited the book His active weblog is at www.thenewfriars.com. Shane Claiborne is a preacher, writer and lover of Jesus. He attended Eastern University, where he studied sociology and youth ministry. Claiborne is cofounder of The Simple Way and is currently a part of The Alternative Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He serves on the board of the Christian Community Development Association. He is the author of and coauthor of Catch up with him at thesimpleway.org. Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove (M.Div., Duke Divinity School) is director of the School for Conversion in Durham, North Carolina, where he is a member of the Rutba House new monastic community. He is the author of and coauthor of He is also the coeditor of Catch up with him at newmonasticism.org.
