Romans 12 is the START HERE for the Christian life. What most Christians sadly misunderstand is that God isn't into religious activities or performance-based Christianity. Instead, Romans 12 reveals to us a relational profile of what it means to be a disciple, as well as a proven pathway to becoming more like Jesus each day.
If you've become stagnant in your spiritual growth, START HERE.
If you've become disengaged with your church experience, START HERE.
If you are a new believer and unsure of how to grow spiritually, START HERE.
If you are a mature Christian and are looking for a pathway to disciple others, START HERE.
Are you ready for the journey of your lifetime? START HERE.
--Rick Warren, author of international bestseller The Purpose Driven Life

It's helping me to become the Christian I was designed to be. It's opened my eyes to a few things that are very important to me in living a proper Christian life. I've decided to start a small group using Living on the Edge as our study. I can't wait to go more in depth and to share this book with my group. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to challenge themselves and step outside of their comfort zone to become all that you were designed to be.

This book should be required reading, especially for servants in the church that are dealing with membership and how to encourage individual growth and spiritual community.

JK TurnageNorthern LouisianaAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5LOVE IT!!March 14, 2011JK TurnageNorthern LouisianaAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I LOVE Chip Ingram's teachings and this is certainly at the top of my list. Chip takes Romans 12 and breaks it town piece by piece to describe the picture of what a disciple of Christ is! His passion in communicating HOW to experience 'true spirituality' comes through loud and clear. This book is a culmination of why he does what he does and why his ministry is named 'living on the edge'. Throughout the book, he gives testimony to ways in which God worked in, around, and through Him moving him to new levels in his walk with Christ. The preface says this book is for you if...you are spiritually stuck, tired of the spiritual status quo, wish you knew what God wanted from you, long to break free from habitual sin, desire to grow spiritually, need a clear pathway to spiritual maturity, or are discipling other believers.
In my opinion, ALL Christians should read this book. It is inspirational, Truth-filled, funny, real, gripping, and motivating at the same time! I just LOVE it!!
