Our daughter is the girl on the front of the book. We are a homeschooling family, and our girls have always loved the Little House series of books and TV shows. So, when our oldest daughter was chosen to portray Mary for the cover, she was so excited! It was a wonderful experience with the photography crew and being able to correspond with the author was such a joy. The book gives such nice insight into Mary and her dreams, her struggles, and how she develops into a strong person (stronger than she thought possible). Nice to have something that tells about Mary...you"ll love the book!
