This is an excellent presentation of an event that can be a bit difficult for the little ones, yet they hear the reference to the cross and so should begin to understand it. This book does a wonderful job. The poetry is beautiful, the illustrations excellent and I really like the way she includes the full quotation of Scripture and the citation at the back of the book...good for a teaching aid later, or for parents to research back to their own Bible. Well-done, and certainly worth having in your home.
