This book is so cute!
June 5, 2014
This book is so cute! I'm so glad I discovered this Little Blessings book. I've never heard of them before.
I like that the rhymes in this book is Christian, easy for little ones to understand, and has the cutest pictures on each page. The questions asked at the beginning of the book seem to be things kids would wonder about. I can picture my (future) little ones asking me to read this book over and over - even before they fully understand what it's truly about - because the drawings are sweet.
I recommend this book for parents of toddlers, or even expectant parents. One extra way to introduce your child to spiritual things.
I love the rhymes and pictures inside. It asked really great questions about angels that kids would ask and then answered the questions in a cute, kid-friendly way. The best part was the bible references in the back to support each cute rhyme.
My son is 2 1/2 and he adores this book. He requests that this book be read to him before bedtime on most nights. :)
I was pleasantly surprised to find biblical references for the questions/answers about angels that make up the children's book in the very back of the book. Very good resource for parents who like to do research about the quality and truth of their children's reading material. The pictures are great and so are the rhymes. The book keeps the attention of my 2 year old very well!
I received this book for free through TyndaleRewards, however, the above review is my honest opinion of the book. I look forward to purchasing more from the series Little Blessings by Kathleen Long Bostrom.
Beautiful illustrations on each page. It's a rhyming story with sentences that are short and sweet. With this in mind, the age range for this book is 5-11 years, but I think 11 year olds might feel that they are too old for this story. They first ask questions about angels in the first half of the book and then they answer those questions in the second half of the book. The story ends on page 55, but it doesn't take long to read. There is a section at the end with bible verses/references that you can go over with your child while reading the book again. This is a good resource to have. This is a cute book to read to your toddler and preschooler as well.
LOVED LOVED LOVED this book! It is probably THE most precious children's book that I have ever read. I now have ALL of the Little Blessing books. They are part of our nighttime prayers when the grandchildren spend the night. This one is my favorite!
