"Noted radio and television speaker and Focus on the Family associate, Dr. Walt Larimore presents facts in clear, unembarrassed fashion, encouraging boys to choose the right thing for today and for his future. Author and humorist, John Riddle makes sure those facts are fun to absorb. Adding to the fun with his black and white cartoons and silly boy photos, illustrator Mark Phillips piquantly emphasizes the information.
"The cover of Lintball Leo says, For boys only! Dont believe it. This book is also for the parents, youth workers, and teachers of pubescent boys. Having trouble getting him to ask questions? Having trouble getting yourself ready to answer those questions? Often Lintball Leo strongly encourages the boy to go to his parents and other trustworthy advisors with his questions. This book is a useful tool for initiating meaningful conversation between boy and adult advisor. It will also be useful in school, homeschooling, and church groups. Lintball Leo is the latest in the ZonderKidz 2:52 Soul Gear series." -- Donna Eggett, Christian Book Previews

It is sooo appropriate and is very well written for a boy to even read it to himself if he is easily embarrassed. I am looking forward to giving this to my son I think he will be happy to learn that hes normal.

Momof1Southern CAAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5This book covers an array of questions andApril 14, 2011Momof1Southern CAAge: 35-44Gender: femaleI have not shared this book with my son yet, but I've gone through it. I particularly like how even topics I feel my son is too young to read about, like masturbation and sexual thoughts, are dealt with from a Christian perspective. There are scripture references throughout and Godly behavior is stressed. The format is designed for boys in a question and answer format and there are silly cartoon drawings that I think would appeal. A variety of topics are covered, including physical and emotional changes. There is even a section, broken down by age, which lists changes (visible and not) a young man may experience. I think it will prove a great resource for my son.
SC MomAge: 35-44Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Good informationMarch 1, 2011SC MomAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I bought this for my son (he turned 9 last week) as he has already started showing some signs of puberty (BO). I read it as soon as it came, in about an hour. Being a single mom, I wasn't sure how to approach some of the things this book covers, and some of this stuff I didn't even know until I read it myself! He's already asked me what a couple different words mean. I agree with another reviewer, I wish there was a glossary. But overall, I've been pleasantly surprised at my sons interest. I saw that his light was on after bed time last night, and found him reading this book. I let him finish the chapter before going to sleep. I love that the books alludes to the fact that even Jesus went through puberty, and several times it emphasizes that fact that God made our bodies, and we shouldn't be embarrassed or ashamed of them.
Danielle4 Stars Out Of 5August 28, 2010DanielleI am reading this book to my 8 1/2 year old son. There are some parts that are not relevant to him right now, but they are just around the corner, so I'm glad I bought this book. It's in an easy to read and understand format; kinda silly in places but it's good, especially for an 8 year old!
