Author Bio

DiAnn Mills is a bestselling author who believes her readers should expect an adventure. She currently has more than fifty-five books published. Her titles have appeared on the CBA and ECPA bestseller lists and have won placements through the American Christian Fiction Writer’s Carol Awards and Inspirational Reader’s Choice awards. DiAnn won the Christy Award in 2010 and 2011. She is a founding board member for American Christian Fiction Writers and a member of Inspirational Writers Alive, Romance Writers of America, Faith, Hope & Love, Advanced Writers and Speakers Association, and International Thriller Writers. She speaks to various groups and teaches writing workshops around the country. She and her husband live in sunny Houston, Texas.

ANDREA BOESHAAR was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Married for twenty-five years, she and her husband Daniel have three sons, two of whom are adults. She's active in her church and enjoys writing books that combine romance with reality and heartbreak with hope. Andrea has been writing for over thirteen years but writing exclusively for the Christian market for six.

Lynn A. Coleman is an award-winning and bestselling author of Key West and other books. She began her writing and speaking career with how to utilize the Internet. Since October 1998, when her first fiction novel sold she's sold 30 books and novellas.

Lynn is also the founder of American Christian Fiction Writers Inc., and served as the group's first president for two years and two years on the Advisory Board. One of her primary reasons for starting ACFW was to help writers to develop their writing skills and to encourage others to go deeper in their relationship with God. "God has given me a gift," says Lynn, "but it is my responsibility to develop that gift."

Lynn has spoken at writers groups, women's groups, home-schooling organizations, church groups, conferences, workshops and retreats. "Lynn is informative, humorous, and approachable--what more can you ask for?" said one attendee.

She makes her home in Keystone Heights, Florida, where her husband of 36 years serves as pastor of Friendship Bible Church. Together they are blessed with three children and eight grandchildren.

PAIGE WINSHIP DOOLY is the author of over a dozen books and novellas. She enjoys living in the coastal Deep South with her family, after having grown up in the sometimes extremely cold Midwest. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart and loves their life of adventure in a full house with six homeschooled children and two dogs.

Sally Laity considers it a joy to know that the Lord can touch other hearts through her stories. She has written both historical and contemporary novels, including a co-authored series for Tyndale House and another for Barbour Publishing, nine Heartsong Romances, and twelve Barbour novellas. Her favorite pastimes include quilting for her church’s Prayer Quilt Ministry and scrapbooking. She makes her home in the beautiful Tehachapi Mountains of southern California with her husband of fifty years and enjoys being a grandma and great-grandma.

Editorial Reviews

A great collection for stories and lighthouses.  I enjoyed all the stories they were remarkably well done.  I can not pinpoint one I like over the others as I loved them all.  We knew woman could be lighthouse keepers too back in the day and find romance.  That was the best part about some of these stories.  Women had a more active role than just sitting back and having the men take care of them.

I will recommend this book to readers who would like a collection of quick reads that they can pick up here and there. It's good for readers who only have short intervals for reading and don't have time to delve into a full-bodied story and adventure.

Journey through simpler times and watch as God brings together adventurous-but lonesome-souls under a beacon of hope.

I have always enjoyed Lighthouses. First, their function, to provide a light in the darkness to prevent a disaster. Second their engineering beauty, I think each one of them is a design of wonder. So now we have "The Lighthouse Brides Collection" and I feel that the authors captured the design and beauty of the building and each of them wrote it into their stories. Six stories about Lighthouses, the men who tend them and the women who fall in love with them from all across America. I think this collection may be the best one yet. Each of the six authors give us such wonderful characters that we really do not want their stories to end. I enjoyed this book and look forward to more collections like this.

    Lighthouse Brides Collection

These 6-in-1 historical romances made me long for ocean and the calming sound of waves rushing to the beach. Each of these stories had very fragile and yet very strong women fighting the elements and the hardships of this world to bring a beacon of light to the dear lonely sailors stuck out there on the water. This collection is a perfect mix of mystery, comedy, drama, suspense and a whole emotional rollercoaster. I really liked each story the dilemma these woman were stuck in and their "prince on a white boat" coming to save them. I loved how Authors managed to spin a short story into such an active and not rushing love story. Get it, read it, and have fun sailing from lighthouse to lighthouse.
