In Lifelong Love Affair, Jimmy Evans shows couples how to embrace God's dream for their marriage, cultivate romance and fun, and fulfill each other's spiritual, emotional, and sexual needs. With more marriages today ending in divorces than ever before, and more young people cohabiting rather than getting married, the message of this book is sorely needed. Any married couple and anyone considering marriage will find Lifelong Love Affair an essential tool they will turn to again and again for inspiration and strength. Foreword by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott.

Pator and marriage speaker says any couple has 100 percent chance of success
Recent studies show marriage as a declining institution in the U.S., with startling numbers of people saying they believe marriage is obsolete. With nearly half of marriages ending in divorce, the picture of marriage looks bleak. Jimmy Evans, founder of Marriage Today, argues that marriage is still foundational to our nation and that every marriage can be divorce-proof. In Lifelong Love Affair: How to Have a Passionate and Deeply Rewarding Marriage, Evans gives hope and practical advice for any couple to have a successful marriage.
Topics Evans addresses include the following:
- How to build an indestructible marriage
- What marriage was created to be - the most fulfilling and rewarding relationship in people's lives
- How to cultivate romance and fun, and fulfill each other's spiritual, emotional and sexual needs
- How children of divorce can overcome their fear of marriage and build a solid marriage
- How couples can repair a marriage that already seems completely broken
- The importance of of pre-marital and marital counseling for relationships

I've passed several to young couples in our local church who are struggling in their marriage. I tell them it's not only a good read, but the book is a very easy read.
IreneUnited States5 Stars Out Of 5Great for couples to read!April 11, 2013IreneUnited StatesQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The subtitle to the book explains exactly what you will take away from this book if you take the time to read it. The subtitle says "How to have a passionate and deeply rewarding marriage." I gave this book 5/5 stars. I thought the purpose of the book was well thought out and followed through on. I liked the examples and stories chosen to highlight a principle the author was presenting. I especially enjoyed the way the book was written. I did not feel preached to in any way! It was written from one friend who has learned ways to enhance a marriage and given to anyone who wants their marriage to grow in the Lord. I would recommend this book for all engaged and married couples.
I would like to thank the publisher for the copy of this book I enjoyed reading. I gave an honest review based on my opinion of what I read.

We bought a copy for each couple who attends the class. It has been a terrific study, prompting really good discussion. We are very pleased with our selection of the book, and I believe each couple in our class would say the same thing.

If you are just getting married or have been married forever, there are great tools and reminders to keep the fire burning. I love the honesty that is presented about what real love is and the fact that everyone CAN have this kind of love, a dynamic, fearless and covenantal love. Also, there is a study Guide for small groups that is a great bonus to this book. A definite recommended read for all couples!
