Recommend for All Married Couples I really like that this is a daily devotional. You read two pages per day. The left page has scripture (usually about 3) and the right page has a short topic for the day. It only takes a couple minutes to read in the morning so it won't take up a lot of your time. However, there is so much good word in it that I almost want to read through the next few pages. The topics cover everything from serving your spouse to unconditional love. In the back there is a scripture index for a quick look at a topic/topics that goes along with that scripture. This would make a great gift book for newly married or couples that have been married for years. I highly recommend this book to all couples regardless of age and years of marriage. In all of Dr. Chapman's writings, it is evident that he believes in the presence and power of God within the personal and relational aspects of life. This book only serves to continue to demonstrate the truth of this fact. Through his brief lessons, Dr. Chapman conveys the ultimate individual choice of each marriage partner. He teaches that our desire to follow God cannot be forced on our spouse, for following God is a choice that each person makes on his own. But he encourages the readers to embrace the presence of God and allow His power to move through them within the marriage unit. The simplistic format combines the study of scripture with the Godly insight of Dr. Chapman. Thus it will serve only to enhance the marriage of any couple who takes the times to turn its pages.
