Paul Cedar explores prayer through three primary concepts, showing us how to consider, cultivate and continue a lifestyle of prayer. This volume of the Swindoll Leadership Library helps readers recognize the unlimited potential and the awesome purpose of prayer.
Roy Ingle4 Stars Out Of 5June 17, 2003Roy IngleCedar writes in the series of biblical studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Although I disagree theologically with DTS, I have found Cedar to be a solid man of God. This book offers a biblical and intellectual look at prayer. I too agree with the last reviewer before me that this book is not earth shaking and offers little to the solid works from E.M. Bounds, A.W. Tozer, Leonard Ravenhill, Andrew Murray, or Charles Spurgeon. However, it is worth the read.
Kevin Bankston3 Stars Out Of 5September 6, 2000Kevin BankstonA solid book, though hardly containing anything significantly thought provoking if you have read many books on prayer. If a book on prayer is what you are in the mood for, give it a read. Cedar is solid if unspectacular.
