After completing the Gospels of John and Luke, however, I found that several of the lessons in the Matthew book are repeats. Since there are so many different lessons in the Bible that Mr. Lucado could have chosen, I don't understand why he published identical accounts in his Gospels series. If you do not plan to complete all four Gospels books, you won't have this problem.

What I am missing is some deeper instruction about the Book of Matthew. Our group has only completed two chapters to date, so I may find the lessons more challenging as I go along.

I just wish it was more down to earth than it is. I almost always have to use a dictionary to read what some things mean before I can answer. Other than that, it's wonderful and I'm learning.
