You long to live with purpose, to touch the lives of others with God’s grace. But this just doesn’t seem to be the right time–maybe after your life is in order or when your schedule is more manageable or you land the right job or the kids leave home or…
If you want to serve God in a big way, writes author and speaker Donna Partow, the secret lies not in waiting for the perfect opportunity but in choosing to walk through each day fully surrendered to his purposes.
Describing herself as “living proof” that God can use absolutely anybody, Donna reveals the transforming truths and fresh perspectives that will allow God’s power to flow through your life naturally, defeating the attitudes that hold you back. God’s ability to work through your life is limited not by your flaws or your jam-packed schedule, she says, but by your willingness to be used.
Packed with powerful storytelling and insightful Bible teaching, Let Your Life Count will open your eyes and your heart to the countless ways God can use you–just as you are and right where you are–to answer someone’s prayers.
Includes a study guide designed for individual and group use.
“Donna Partow is a stick of dynamite for the soul sick and tired of being stuck in the mundane. For every woman who has ever wanted to do something significant for God, Let Your Life Count is a book for you. Donna not only challenges women to rise up and take their place in the Kingdom, she encourages them to allow the Lord to take their ordinary lives and make something extraordinary out of everything they do.”
–Joanna Weaver, best-selling author of Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World
“Like healing salve on a wounded heart, Let Your Life Count will change lives. We all long to make a difference for God. Donna Partow combines vulnerability and boldness, with the strong foundation of Scriptural truth, to help us on the journey of finding our purpose.”
–Allison Gappa Bottke, speaker, and author of God Alllows U-Turns and debut novel, A Stitch in Time
“If you want to shine for Jesus, read Let Your Life Count. Donna Partow writes a roadmap of the life every Christian should aspire to live. Convicting and convincing…superb wisdom and communication shines through. Your personal walk with Christ won’t be the same.”
–Wayne Atcheson, Christian Writers Guild
“Let Your Life Count is another zinger from Donna Partow. Every chapter challenges both my thinking and my actions. Donna has something to say to everyone: the new Christian, the seasoned believer, and the still-searching. Her stories about real people, her examination of Scripture, and practicality make Let Your Life Count a catalyst for growth, beyond your average devotional or study book. She seems to be able to put her finger on ‘the next thing you should consider’ in your faith journey. Her excitement jumps right off the page. It’s a ‘shake you out of your complacency’ book.”
–Nancy Karpenske, contributing editor of Christian Standard magazine and director of women’s ministry at LifeBridge Christian Church, Longmont, Colorado

Great ideas for applying the principals that are shared and the end of chapter reviews are awesome. It reminded me that my everyday life does count and that I don't have to wait for church or a special occasion to be used by God.
I have purchased this book for the women in my church. We are doing a weekly book club using it! I have also given this book to several women outside my church.
Once I started reading it I couldn't stop - up most of one night and through the next morning.
Pam5 Stars Out Of 5March 9, 2008PamWow. I couldn't put this book down - God spoke to me in so many ways and all He brought to my attention, keeps popping up in my daily routine. I am not an avid reader, but this book was finished in 5 days. A few weeks ago, I was searching for answers to many questions and God revealed to me that my purpose is not in what I am doing for Him, He's prepared many good works for me to do - my fault is looking for things I can do for Him, instead of opening my heart and looking for Him in the things I'm already doing. I've always known this - but God penned Donna's words in a way I truly took to heart. He will use me in even the smallest way. Being "humble isn't thinking less of myself - but thinking of myself less" - A recent sermon came to mind while reading - that God didn't save me for myself, but for someone else whose path will cross mine. When I shared LYLC with a friend - she couldn't put it down either. Our Women of H.O.P.E. are using this for our next Bible Study. I even ordered a couple of extras as gifts. This book is wonderful!
Barbara Graydon5 Stars Out Of 5February 26, 2006Barbara GraydonI have the honor of being the first person to read Donna Partow's new book, Let Your Life Count:Only God Knows What He Can Do Through You. It is a wonderful book that gives many practical ideas for ministry and prayer opportunities. Donna writes from her heart and shows that nothing you do for the Lord is ever wasted. Even seemingly small things you do for others can change a life and can motivate others to do their own small thing for the Lord. The ripples go on and on. Thank you Donna, for writing a life changing book that will get Christians out of the pews and into the adventure God has called them too. Let YOUR life count!
