Paul KPittsburgh, PAAge: 45-54Gender: Male5 Stars Out Of 5Good study of JobNovember 8, 2014Paul KPittsburgh, PAAge: 45-54Gender: MaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5We sometimes wonder why bad things happen to good people and good things happen to bad people. This study of Job answers those questions as well as other issues. For example, God is just, but His way of resolving an issue may be different from the way that we would want, or expect, Him to. Also, our view of Him as an eternal ATM machine is one that is distorted.

It gives new insights into the culture and frames more clearly the arguments of Job and his 3 friends. A must read for those who study the meaning of suffering and the supremacy of God.

Frankie Otis5 Stars Out Of 5June 18, 2010Frankie OtisThis book really explained Job to me. I can understand better what Job's "friends" were saying, and what Job was saying about his situation. Stedman's explanation of Elihu, the fourth critic, was credible and logical. I have gained a new understanding of what God was saying by including the book of Job in the Bible.
