Excellent - Start to Finish
Action packed and full of intrigue at every turn I could not put the book down once I started.
The mystery behind the killings and the drama unfolding at the retreat after being unable to evacuate after the bridge is washed out keeps you on edge wanting to go to the next chapter.
The book ends with the making of a new mystery.
Absolute fun to read.

Just as action packed as the first one, a church & temple retreat leads to disaster as bad weather and bad guys go after the rabbi and 14 students (Jewish & Christian) unable to evacuate before the bridge is flooded with water. Using basic & special forces military training he received in Israel, the rabbi leads the students towards safety as the church secretary works with the police to help find the killers that are after the rabbi & students. Although the murder mystery was resolved in this book, the last chapter presents a new mystery, new evidence for a cold case. I can't wait for another book to come out, so I can find out more about the cold case.

Interesting reading
This book was fun to read and kept me wanting to read the next chapter. However, the storyline was a bit far fetched and somewhat unrealistic.

So far the best of the three!
This book was the best of the three by far. The danger that faces Jeremiah and a group of children on a camp out kept my heart in my throat. We really get some good insight into Jeremiah's character and some clear hints about his past. The character of Mark, the detective that is involved with Cindy and Jeremiah was further developed in this book, with some deep revelations. I couldn't stand to put it down!! This is not for teens or the squeamish, it is a bit graphic at times, but very exciting. I did not at all like the overwhelming use of the word "kids" referring to the children in the latter part of the book, and once again the author's lack of good grammar is disheartening. If you love mystery and suspense, you will enjoy this one, even if you didn't read the first two (but I recommend you get them while they are available at such a low price).
