Publisher's DescriptionP. B. "Bunny" Wilson's bestselling book, Liberated Through A strong woman married This exploration of an often misunderstood topic helps readers discover-
Everyone will find a powerful truth in the principle of submission as our Creator intended. ChristianBookPreviews.comIn the beginning, a note from the author indicates that she had head knowledge but did not truly have submission written in her heart. She asks if the reader views submission as a positive or negative, and that the answer will be affirming in the former and setting the reader free in the latter.
Throughout these pages, "Bunny" Wilson shows how our wills are always trying to trump God's will for our lives, especially in the role of husband/wife; yet if we are willing as women to allow God to work in the lives of our husbands, without trying to be one step ahead of Him, then we will find peace and harmony as we had not expected in our marriages. This was especially thought-provoking for me, since submission always seemed a subservient and hollow word. As I was reading the chapter on "Submission and the Married Woman," I actually had a strong-willed session of being angry at my husband. At the end of the chapter, Wilson asks "Why is a wife with a meek and quiet spirit of great price in the sight of God?" And she answers with, "Women who have a meek and quiet spirit and reverence for their husbands are rare indeed. Will you be one of those priceless women of God?" I want to be, and I hope to be.
