I had some questions about Leviticus and picked this up. Instead started reading the Numbers portion. The description and application of chapter 1 and 2, (census and organization of the camp, etc). to present times has been very helpful. This is information that could be preached and would bring new life to some of the dustier chapters on the OT. Any book that can make some of the "boring" OT passages alive with present meaning and application is a plus.

The quality of the cover book and paper is good as well, not something that will easily get banged up with use.

I am a fan of NIV Application Commentary! However I do not love this volume. The insides in terms of the symbolism and the temple are very helpful however this book in general is a very well written justification for the SDA Doctrine of the Sanctuary and the Investigative Judgment. For this peculiar interpretation I have to give it a 3 because even when it is a very convincing and educated way to propose their belief to the rest of the Christian community it is a very confusing interpretation that claims grace and works of the law to be truly saved.
