Author/Artist Review

Author: Michelle Sutton
Located in: Arizona
Submitted: July 06, 2011

Tell us a little about yourself.  I'm the author of over a dozen inspirational novels releasing through 2014 and have been a social worker for over two decades.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I've worked with over a thousand families over the years and each has a unique story. This is a blend of a number of different foster care and adoption cases I've had over the years.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  To see that clinging too tightly to what you want only hurts you and that having faith that God knows what's best is the right approach to take to any situation where you feel helpless. God is in control.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  It reminded me of the many times adoptive couples feared that they would lose the child they dearly loved and the pain that went along with that fear.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Any author who is brave enough to write about real life situations that are dark, but where God's love shines brighter than any solution created by man.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  Like many authors, I treasure each and every review provided by readers for the encouragement it brings me. If you enjoy this book, please post one after you finish. Thank you.
