    Grandson was excited

Purchased this book as birthday present for 8 yr old grandson. He was exited when he opened the book and a week later we received a handmade written thank you note after he finished reading the book. I takes quite a bit to get him excited about a book so from that response I would interpret that the book is great for 8-year-olds. However, I did not actually read the book.
