Lenten Lands is an autobiography by Douglas Gresham, C.S. Lewis's stepson. This is a book everyone should read. It is an incredibly interesting book and hard to put down! Lenten Lands looks at the life of C.S. Lewis from a different perspective- the perspective of someone who actually knew him and later became his stepson. The story then goes on to tell about Douglas's life afterwards and on up to his life in Ireland. The book further was enriched by pictures of Lewis, the Gresham's, and other places talked about in the book. I enjoyed this book so much! It is one of my all time favourites. I definitely recommend this book to everyone, not just Lewis or Gresham fans. Everyone will enjoy it and can learn from this enriching book.
