I was fortunate enough to meet Immaculee in person at a retreat in Lincoln, NE. A friend had loaned her book, Left to Tell, to me before the retreat. I had to get my own. Immaculee had such an inspiring message of forgiveness and the power of prayer. Her story was so difficult to read, but she is such a warm, sincere person, who has overcome the most difficult situations imaginable. I would recommend this book to anyone.
This is such a great book. It catches the reader the moment you start reading. I could not put it down. Thru such tragedy of the holocaust Immaculee finds herself alone but triumphs past the hell she endures. She is living proof of prayer and positive thinking. Im sharing it with all my friends and can't stop talking about how her amazing testimony. A MUST READ.
I loved every bit of reading this true story. It was educational on the Rwanda conflict between the Hutus and Tutsis. The best part was the example of forgiveness. I shared the book with many friends and they all raved about how wonderful the book is and what a blessing it was in their lives. Surely if she could be so forgiving under the circumstances she lived through, we all felt we could be the same. I would HIGHLY recommend this book.
