They are fantastic to listen to while I'm cooking, working around the house or on long trips. Some of mine are on cassette tape, so I'm glad to find the CD's. We do have all the books and of course they have more story in them. Would recommend them to anyone!
Kenneth E Gillingham5 Stars Out Of 5July 31, 2009Kenneth E GillinghamMy wife and I have all the books and the 3 movies. My wife loves this series and has read the series over and over, and then she saw the audio books in the dramatized version and just had to try one. She loved it. So, if you loved the written books, she said she also recommends the audio dramatized.
Vernon Martin5 Stars Out Of 5July 23, 2009Vernon MartinI have since purchased the entire DVD series as well as the CD audio. These are some of the most compelling materials I have encountered and I have been studying the end time prophecies for over 20 years. That coupled with the great service and help from CHristianBook has made the purchase even more enjoyable. I will be ordering 3-5 more Left Behind (The Movie) shortly for friends. Thanks for all.
John Jones5 Stars Out Of 5September 11, 2002John JonesAfter I bought this audio version of the Left Behind series, I became hooked. It is a 5-hour radio version of the LaHaye's and Jenkins' book, broken into twelve 25-minute episodes. At a retail value of $20, this 4-CD set is a bargain. The first thing that will grab you is the professional quality of this product. Produced by GAP Digital, the stereo sound effects are stunning. Sounds are not faked, as is often done in movies. Instead, GAP Digital actually uses sounds from the devices for which are asked, down to the background noises on airplanes.Sometimes the actors' voices do sound a bit forced, but overall, the dialog is convincing. The dramatic audio version is a great way to introduce someone to the LB series, or something to make a long road trip a bit easier. If you like Left Behind, you love this presentation. You'll not only want this dramatic audio version, but those of each of the other books in the series as well.
Jenny Standridge5 Stars Out Of 5June 19, 2001Jenny StandridgeThis is the best series I have ever read, and listened to. These sure make you think about "when" the Lord comes back, what will happen! I highly recommend them.
