A Leader in the Making: Essentials to Being a Leader After God's Own Heart - eBook
I recommend this book to every five-fold ministry leader and also, those that feel that they have been called to serve in the ministry. I have read books on leadership but this one takes the cake. The book grabs your attention and explains in great detail what God is looking for in a leader. I searched books stores everywhere for this book and was only able to find it at Christianbooks.com. Get a copy of this book for you or for someone you know that is in leadership. This is a book that keeps on giving.

I recommend this book to every Christian - even non-believers would greatly benefit from reading it but there is a lot of Christianese that they may not grasp. Joyce Meyer communicates extremely well in this book - teaching about different heart conditions that we need to have (or not have) - not just as leaders but as believers, representing the body of Christ. It is very easy to understand and relate to - she uses great examples and talks straight. I read the book over about 6 weeks, a little each day. I looked forward to reading it every morning. AWESOME BOOK!!! Highly Recommended.

As usual, Joyce delivers a straight-forward message of truth combined with a forward-focused message of hope. This book is designed specifically for those who are called into ministry leadership but is a relevant read for ANYONE. She addresses the core of us - our hearts - in a way that leaves nothing left unturned, no tiny corner unexamined. This book is not a "self-help" book, but rather an "others-help" book. In it she gives clearly stated, Biblical truths about how EVERY believer should interact in his or her circle of influence. A great resource for any library. May God continue to use this vessel.

An excellent guide to life's tests, which are really God's tests. Joyce is candid about her own experiences as God prepared her to be a leader. I recommend this for any woman in ministry or married to a leader.
