Located in: Erie, PA Submitted: April 15, 2006 Tell us a little about yourself. I'm a pastor, a dad, and a writer. I'm a fairly ordinary leader, but I have the gift of being able to narrate what I'm learning. What was your motivation behind this project? Again, I need leaders to become comfortable with their God-given skin. God is an artist, he doesn't machine out "cogs" to do church-work. There's a plethora of leadership-voices. And it's time we stop idolizing a mere handful of them. What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My desire is to liberate leaders from the myth that they need to be the perfect "one-man-show" leader. I want my readers to understand that God has given each leader a unique style that can add to a ministry team, and that interdependance and deep community can blossom. Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Right now I'm loving Donald Miller. I can't read enough of him. I love the humor and conversational tone... and his ability to simultaneously be profound.
