The history of American law and government from a Christian constitutional approach, this course provides an understanding of the legal, moral, and ethical issues of civil government and public policy. Seven units each provide a context for in-depth analysis and discussion; units cover: foundational concepts, jurisdictional authority, the role of the private citizen, the electoral system, the Executive Branch, the Judicial Branch, and the Legislative branch. Students watch the DVD lecture, listen to the audio, and think through concepts with the workbook. Organized by unit, the study guide provides a summary, outline, short-answer questions, selected reading, definitions, a written assignment, and suggestions for further study for each lecture within the unit.
