Like the book, this audio recording is very "black & white" but its "uncluttered" appproach is one that keeps it simple. Though the exercises are rote, they provide a predictable pattern for my son to follow. Some may consider it dry, boring, and dull, but it is straightforward and aims for memorization of verbs and conjugation. If you're going to buy the book, the small investment of this CD is worth it.
