Kutless' 2nd record, Sea of Faces, is a fine example of how the band has matured since the release of their debut. Several national tours can take a toll on most bands, but not these guys! They're the real deal! Features the hit singles "Treason", "Sea of Faces" and "Not What You See."

If you are thinking of buying this CD - do it. When new to Christian music, I found myself wanting something more my style (coming from a rock background) for months until I heard Kutless, and they have since become my favorite band. I started off with "Strong Tower", then "Hearts of the Innocent", and now "Sea of Faces". I just ordered the other two albums (will post a review) and have also re-ordered the above three to give as gifts to teenagers at the local Christian Youth Center I volunteer at. As an adult, I find their lyrics something all Christians can be proud of. I highly recommend this band to anyone seeking something with a bit harder edge to it, yet not so overbearing you cannot understand the lyrics. The lyrics show compassion for fellow man - something you don't get in secular music with a harder sound. Remember, it's not the medium we care about as Christians - it's the message - and these albums have the right one for concerned parents.

What's wrong with sounding like Metallica? "Let You In", sure it's heavy, but what's the difference between Heavy Metal and Country? Nothing but a sound change. In fact, most Heavy Metal bands have better lyrics than some country bands! Kutless is NOT heavy metal, more like rock. but if you are going to act like "Believers beware, let you in sounds exactly like metallica", then definitely do not get any of The Showdown's cds. They sound like Pantera. Sheesh, Why have many Christians become so blind and hypocritical about music? You are acting like the pharisees. This cd is great, and if you are a true Christian, you wouldn't mind buying this cd, and look past your ignorance, and let the lyrics change your life around.

This is a great Kutless cd, from a fan's view point. It is very melodic and now I see it sort of set them off for writing really good soft songs. Even the heavier songs on this like Treason and Let You In are very melodic yet powerful. Recommended to anyone.

The best CD I own. Amazing voice that can rock hard on songs like Treason (my favorite rock song) or touch you deeply in songs like 'Sea of Faces' or 'Perspectives.' Buy the CD, and believe me, you won't regret it.

Kutless has a great style of play in this album. Track 1 really rocks! My only complaints are that the lyrics could be clearer and that there could be more diversity in the songs.
