Knowing Scripture shows us that it is the privilege and duty of every believer to diligently study God’s Word. It reminds us that along with this privilege comes the responsibility to interpret the Bible correctly. Dr. R.C. Sproul teaches that interpreting Scripture, like all sciences, is governed by rules. He lays out the basic guidelines for correctly understanding, interpreting, and applying Scripture, using time-tested principles from Scripture to show how to find the true meaning of its contents. This series is a great study tool for both beginning and long-time Bible readers. Twelve 30-minute messages on Four DVDs.

Rick Yentzer5 Stars Out Of 5May 6, 2009Rick YentzerThe DVD is the converted VHS material from the 70's. And yes its not in HD or a little bit grainy. This is to be expected of VHS. However I have no problems with viewing the material. The sound is slightly lower than normal but is not a problem. I watched this on my computer just fine. Includes the Knowing Scripture outline material in PDF format. The content is great and well worth the purchase price. I'm taking our College and Career class through it. Sproul is a great teacher, able to break down complex ideas into understandable ideas.
Tlc1 Stars Out Of 5April 16, 2008TlcWe ordered this DVD collection and it is the one that Dr. Sproul did back in the 1970s. They have taken it from VHS and copied it to the DVD. The sound was terrible, turned up all the way on a professional system, we could barely hear it. The video quality was also very grainy. We could not watch it or listen to it. We returned to Dr. Sproul with a note to let us know if they update it at some point because we would love to own it.
