I bought 3 of these-1 for myself, my husband and my 12 year old son with Autism. We ALL love them!! This book is very clear and has promoted wonderful discussions with my family. Though my son and I have been saved for years, my husband has only been saved for a little over a year and he is eagerly reading this book, just like we are. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Word of God in an easy format.

I would recommend this book to any beginning or intermediate christian. This book gives information on the author, and content of each book of the bible. It is my opinion that every christian should have this information. All that being said, you simply cannot beat the price! Thank you Christianbook.com for another job well done!

Certainly we cannot expect depth in such a short overview. This intro can help
to orient a first time student. What does confuse is the "factual" data-- authors, dating, location-- which does not always agree with common scholarship. Hopefully this would not be the only source of inquiry for a church class teacher or leader.

I am very grateful for this book. There are times my daughter has asked Bible questions and the answers in this little resource are so helpful. It also helps me to learn some of the more important facts of Bible books I've never really gotten into.
