The King James Version has been the most widely known and quoted version of the Bible for over three centuries. And the KJV Standard Text Edition is the Bible of choice for those occasions when you just want a well-made, good quality KJV text edition, with minimal extras.
This edition offers the text of the KJV in an exceptionally clear and readable type, with red-letter text to highlight the words of Jesus. Although the text is a generous size, the Bible is still a comfortable size and weight to carry. There is a glossary of fourteen pages to explain some of the lesser known words of seventeenth-century English, and a Bible-reading guide.

Vicky5 Stars Out Of 5KJV Standard Text Bible, French Morocco Leather, blackJanuary 26, 2015VickyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5As Cambridge Bibles are basically the "Cadillac" of Bibles, I found this product to be well made. Even the very thin pages stand up to the test of highlighting key verses and passages when you use the Pigma Ink Pens. The Pigma Pens do not bleed through to the other side of the page. The size of the bible is just right...not too big, not too small. and as promised the more you use the bible the easier it is to have it lay flat when it is open. The price was great as well.

The print is so bold and large. There is not much ghosting on the page, so it is very easy on the eyes. It includes a very helpful self-pronouncing. The leather cover and binding are in good quality. Although this is not a wide-margin Bible, the margin spaces are enough for writing some references or even some short/small notes. I just wish there's a concordance included in this Bible. Highly recommended!
DanH4 Stars Out Of 5Good BibleDecember 13, 2014DanHQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4First off, Kennyg from Indianapolis is wrong...Spirit is capitalized in Gen 1:2. It is a genuine KJV (more accurately and originally named AV - Authorized Version. Who authorized it? God.) The leather cover is a bit stiff but I'm sure it will loosen up with use. My biggest disappointment is that it won't lay flat when opened. Frustrating when trying to study and reference other materials or take a sip of coffee. This Bible is 85% there (which is pretty good), but what I'm still looking for is a high quality binding that lays flat, text only, no references, no maps & concordances & study guides, etc., non-red letter, and lastly No italicized words. If the AV is the true Word of God (and it is), then every word the translators used is inspired and I don't need to be constantly bombarded with doubts about the content.
KennygIndianapolisAge: 45-54Gender: male1 Stars Out Of 5Beware!April 13, 2014KennygIndianapolisAge: 45-54Gender: maleQuality: 1Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1THIS IS NOT A KJV BIBLE! Sure, it says King James on it but Cambridge has been changing the text and therefore doctrine without notifying the reader. One of the clues is in Gen 1:2 where they changed "Spirit" to "spirit," removing the capitalization for the second person in the Trinity.
If you want a genuine KJV bible, this is not it

I also had her name engraved on it, I think that will make it even more special to her. I'm very happy with my purchase.
