In my opinion this is the finest, most fully referenced Bible I've ever seen. I've had the 1920 version of it which was left to me when my Dad died and used it until it was too taped and glued and torn to use any longer. This new one is larger print and has the added blessing of red letter quotes of Christ. I didn't think it could get better than my Dad's Bible, but it did. I'm very happy. Thank you.
I have always had KJV Scofield Bibles and as the years have gone by...the quality of the material gets poorer...especially the paper. The pages are so thin...you can see the backside and even the next page...and the pages do tear very easily...have to handle really easy and slow. To me the print almost looks like a gray instead of the black they should be. They may have to use this color because of the letters showing through. If they were a bright black like they should be they would show through and you probably couldn't read it at all. The lighter color makes it more difficult to read...especially if your eyesight is not good. Had I known this I would not have ordered these Bibles.
I ordered eight of these Bibles and had names put on all of them. I am almost ashamed to give this quality as gifts.
